Step 1: confirm you are 18+
1x1Chat is an adults-only site. The first screen asks you to confirm your age. If you are under 18, the product is not for you, and no conversation on the site changes that.
Step 2: open the online list
The list shows people who are online right now. It is not a catalogue of every profile that has ever existed; it reflects who is actually available at that moment, which is why it changes through the day.
You do not need an account to browse. Open the list and look around before you decide anything.
Step 3: choose one person — or use instant matching
Pick someone from the list and open a private room with them, or tap instant matching if you would rather not choose. Both routes end in the same place: a room with exactly two people.

Step 4: start in text
Every room opens in text. Say something specific — a question about their profile beats a bare hello. This is also the free part of the product: browsing and text chat do not use coins.
Step 5: go on video when you both want
Either side can suggest a video call. The browser asks for camera and microphone permission the first time; you can decline and stay in text. The camera never turns on by itself.
Longer private video calls use coins. The price is shown before you confirm, and you can see your balance first.
Step 6: next, leave, or keep talking
Tap next and you go back to the list or to another match. Tap leave and the room ends. Neither needs an explanation, and the other person can do the same at any time.
If a conversation is going well, keep it going. Text does not expire and does not cost coins.
What you need to use it
A browser and an internet connection. On desktop or phone, there is nothing to download. For video, you need a working camera and microphone and permission for the browser to use them.
